House Set November 21, 2009 This night, instead of going back home, I’ve decided to look at the sea. The same sea that had always walked with me, and which I’ve never looked at. The sea whose waves would hit my shinbones, and resound only to intrude on my ears, but I always refused to feel, to listen, or just to get myself wet more than necessary. And now, there I was... staring towards a different sea from that one that hugged me with its waves, foam, sounds and breeze. I was standing before silent waters – with waves that would no longer come to me. The water no longer wantes to make my feet wet, and the sea breeze seemed like it didn’t even exist. And now... it was me, instead, who was chasing the sea. It was I who would want my feet to be wet, and the sound of the waves to be with me. Now, I look toward the horizon, lifting my face and looking at the sun and the sky, that are always indifferent to my good or bad thoughts, and to my eyes that search for their never ending existances. Now it’s me who tells stories to the sea. Now I walk barefooted and unprotected in the endless sands, under the sun or under the moon, under the same indifferent sky. Walking without a single stop, trying to avoid the sharp seashells and the crustaceans, tiring my feet on the hot afternoon sands, and refreshing them on the fresh night climate. All, all I really want is for that sea to become alive once more, willing to wet my feet, to take my feelings and stories on its waves, and make me smile whenever I take a deep breath, feeling nothing but my heartbeats and the breeze. All I want is the day in which my footsteps on the sand are enough for the sea to delight itself with my presence once more. Because then, whenever the tides erase my footprints on this endless beach, I will no longer need a way back. Until then, I’ll tell my dreams to the wind, the moon and the sun, so that the skies will be always painted with them every day and night, and give me the strength to keep on walking... ©2009 ~arkanent

They are all hands, reaching into the dark, stumbling in the unknown, Never Knowing, what they'll find. 4 am, An old friend calls, and greeted by no friendly words, knows the safety is off.... And it's easy, only twenty two dollars, and the last one, will fall. And in this, the last night of our life, No one sleeps. Yet all dream. All wait. They wait.
